I got pregnant after four months of trying to conceive my second child. Since I studied medicine myself, I was very clear about my preparations for pregnancy and had a clear idea of getting pregnant. Here are some insights I have summarized myself:

After starting to prepare for pregnancy, you can first check a basic hormone level and have your blood drawn 23 days after your period begins.

  1. Regarding ovulation test strips: You can start testing about 20 days before your period. Do not use morning urine. Go for the test at a fixed time every day. Drink less water two hours before the test to avoid being affected by the concentration. If the positive result remains strong on the same day, it indicates that ovulation is about to start. Once the positive result turns weak, ovulation is complete.
  2. Regarding taking body temperature, this is also very important. Measure it directly after waking up in the morning. If you are pregnant, the high temperature will last for more than 14 days and persist!

Combining ovulation test strips with basal body temperature for observation will be more accurate!

  1. Regarding uterine coldness: Consume more warm and nourishing foods, such as jujubes, walnuts, peanuts, tomatoes, etc., and avoid raw and cold foods.
  2. Regarding early pregnancy testing: Don't rush to do it. You can wait until ten days after ovulation to test. Morning urine can be used for early pregnancy testing.
  3. Adjust and improve your living habits, be grateful, be kind to others, don't be petty about everything, and keep a peaceful state of mind!
  4. Besides oneself, the man should also cooperate actively! After all, having a healthy pregnancy is a matter for two people! During this period, you must not smoke, drink alcohol, stay up late or sit for long periods. We adopt a combination of dietary supplements and internal regulation with traditional Chinese medicine for conditioning.

I'll also briefly explain the symptoms: I was diagnosed with a good pregnancy on the 12th day after ovulation. The most obvious symptoms are mainly physical weakness, drowsiness and fever, with a little chest pain, similar to before menstruation! No implantation bleeding!
